If you are FINALLY seeing this email it means we fixed the glitch that’s been not-sending emails for weeks!

And wow, are we sorry for the radio silence, friends.

We’ll send another email on Thursday to make sure we get to everyone, because it’s really important we spread the word that for August our monthly meeting is joining our ice cream social! (Tell your friends, and then bring them with you!)

On SATURDAY AUGUST 23RD from 1 – 3pm at the Girl Scout Shelter at North Midway Park we will have ice cream and lawn games and some extra special guests. Join us for the chance to meet our new City Council Candidates for wards 1, 3, and 4 – Julie Twiss, Sarah Braun, and Sean McKenzie! Mayor Guyleen Castriotta will join us as always.

There’s a rumor our chair has been inviting senators and congresspeople to join us. But shhhh. We’ll spill the beans closer to the event 😉

We’ll be doing our monthly collection for FISH Food Bank at Get the Scoop! This month the high-needs items are:

Cooking oil, Boxed potatoes, Beef stew, Broth, Shampoo, Cereal
