Caucuses are where we elect Precinct Organizers (POs), recruit election judges, and are the first step in a multi-step process of nominating candidates and selecting delegates to assemblies.
- March 4th, 2026 @6pm: Precinct Caucus & County Assembly IN PERSON @ The BCC
- March 26th, 2024 @ 7pm: Congressional District 7 VIRTUAL
- March 28th, 2024 @ Time TBD: Colorado State Democrats Assembly IN PERSON, Pueblo, CO
- March 31st, 2024 @ 7pm: House District 33 VIRTUAL
To be eligible to vote in a political party’s precinct caucus a voter must be:

- A resident of the precinct for at least 22 days.
- Registered as a Democrat no later than 22 days before the caucus.
- Anyone who turns 18 or becomes a naturalized citizen less than 22 days before the caucus may still participate, if they are a registered member of the Democratic party.
Anyone is welcome to show up at caucus and observe. Observers are not allowed to interfere or participate.
In order to be able to participate in the 2026 Democratic Caucus you must be a registered Democrat no later than February 10th, 2026. You can find your voter registration through the Colorado Secretary of State – Find My Voter Registration page and change your affiliation there.
