Say Hello!

The Broomfield Dems are forward-focused on building a community that prioritizes service over self-interest, sustainability over waste, and pragmatic leadership capable of digging deep and doing the right thing even when it’s hard.

(Keep scrolling for School Board!)

Democrats Endorse:

  • 1A – Ordinance 2276 – General Updating and Clean Up:
  • 1B – Ordinance 2277 – Council Qualifications – No Duel Office (Section 4.6)
  • 1C – Ordinance 2278 – Vacancies (Section 4.7)
  • 1D – Ordinance 2279: Requirement that Council establish a code of ethics (Section 4.11)
  • 1E – Ordinance 2280: Emergency ordinance effective immediately, not in 8 days (Section 6.8)
  • 1F – Ordinance 2281: IGA approved by majority vote, not 2/3 vote (Section 16.2)
  • Proposition LL: Allow State to Retain Revenue From Proposition FF Measure
  • Proposition MM: Increase State Taxes for the Healthy School Meals for All Program

We’re pleased to introduce the Democrats running for council. Three incumbents running for reelection on a solid record of doing what they say they will and fired-up to continue that work. And three Broomfielders ready to step onto council for the first time with new perspectives, fresh energy and a shared drive among them to serve Broomfield – with that collaborative passion on the November ballot Broomfield wins at every level.

Did You Know: there are quite a few school districts in Broomfield! We don’t always get to connect with all of the candidates for School Board so we’re updating as we learn more. Check back often!

Adam’s 12 has one contested race, Ike Anyanwu-Ebo is the Dem in the race, you can learn more about him from Rocky Mountain Equality: Adams 12 School Board Candidates Respond to Questions from RMEQ – Incumbent (and fellow Democrat) Amira Assad-Lucas is uncontested, but you can learn more about her at the RMEQ link also!

Boulder Reporting Lab spoke to the BVSD candidates – Meet the candidates for BVSD’s Board of Education in 2025

The only race that is contested is in District E: candidates Deann Bucher and Jeffrey Anderson are both registered Democrats, and as the County Party we do not make endorsements Democrat against Democrat!

Broomfield’s own Ana Temu Otting will be representing us in District F! We’re delighted to get to cast our vote for her, and will miss her from our Executive Committee.

We’ll update on the others soon!
